Psalm was created while staying a Benedictine monastery. After a period of silence away from the contemporary world Williams photographed the inside of the monastery. The out of focus images become a moment of atmosphere rather than a description. As an exploration of space they become part of the silence. Printed onto thin paper and folded suggest a sense of impermanence, a lack of preciousness.
